For those of you who resell, always refresh your inventory. Every couple of days I review my inventory, see what has been for sale for 30 days, take the listing down, and put it back in a slightly different price (up or down), move the pictures, and change the title, and it ends up by selling. This doesn’t happen all the time, but more times than not it will sell. I have been selling my Christmas items after Christmas – just because it is after the holidays, people still buy them, and you should list it if you have it. Selling out of season is okay too. There will always be people who live in areas where the weather doesn’t vary, or they buy when they see a good deal.
I signed up to be an Amazon Associate for Affiliate Marketing back in September of 2019, but it wasn’t until today that I had the time to read through the policy and really had time to post anything. It’s been something I always wanted to do, to share what I have used to other resellers, and now was the day to start.

the Rollo Printer: https://amzn.to/2uHJqy2 was the best investment. With this printer, there is no ink, so the labels won’t run if it gets wet. All I do is print, peel and stick to my package, and off it goes to the post office.

Today is January 1st, 2020; Happy New Year!
I set my weekly goals for the year today, and I know those goals will change through out the year, but I wanted to get something on paper to keep me accountable. These are my weekly goals:
- List 30 items a week on one or more e-commerce platforms
- Bookkeeping/Accounting 4 times a week
- Instagram posts 4 times a week
- Work on Affiliate posts 2 days a week
- Refresh my e-commerce stores 2 times a week
- Blog 3 times a week
Seize The Day • Devotional
To seize the day, you must own the day.
To second way to achieve your goals and to own your day, is to NAME YOUR DAY. For example, “Today is my day of Productivity.” When your day has a name, you have a focus in your mind, and you will be able to make the small choices and decisions necessary to keep your day on track. Your choices that day will be based on your day’s name – your day’s goal.
And every day does not have to be different – perhaps you need several days named “Productivity”! But name each day. Here are a few ideas – could you use a day of Decision, of Study, of Organizing, of Efficiency, of Preparation, of Helpfulness, of Rejuvenation, of Value, of Diligence? Start with an easy one – how about a day of Activity or Work?
Try it. Name your day. Write it down. Remind yourself throughout the day of what you want that day to be, and at the end of the day, evaluate. Did your day live up to its name? I believe you will like this tool, and it is a great way to help you win the day.
When you name something, it becomes personal. Names have great meaning. In the Gospels. Jesus renamed Simon to Peter – the Rock. Peter then had a name to live up to and he became the man that fulfilled his name. His life’s calling was in his name.
Name your day. Make it have meaning.
Well, I really didn’t hit the goals I set for the New Year; no excuses other than I had my grandson for 4 days. What did this do to my goals of 30 listings for the week? Well I did cross-post 14 items from eBay to Etsy, so I do feel good about that, but now I have to hustle to make up for the “lost” listing. I also didn’t do any accounting/bookkeeping, which is crucial to keep up with, so I need to make up time on that. I didn’t blog as much as I thought I would, but I did clear up the 2 accounts I had set up with WP, and found I only need 1 to do the job – so I feel I did my due diligence. I did my Sell Similar on eBay and Refreshed my store. Instagram – I didn’t post, so I need to do play catch-up. Affiliate Marketing – didn’t do that either, but I did more research, and will get that up this week. Life of a Reseller keeps you busy, but you have to have a work-life balance, and my last 4 days with my 19 month grandson is irreplaceable. Until next time – have a blessed day.
